Tutoring is available to all age groups, including adults

Recognizing the Warning Signs
While all children develop differently, it is important to know some of the possible warning signs of learning disabilities.

LANGUAGE - Reverses letters or numbers. Reads words backwards or has difficulty with reading. Slow or unusual development of speech and vocabulary. Trouble following directions.

MOTOR SKILLS - Difficulty handling small objects such as pencils and crayons; poor coordination.

SOCIAL INTERACTION - Problems interacting with other children; withdrawal; difficulty understanding facial expressions or responding to social cues.

COGNITION - Problems understanding cause and effect or sequencing; difficulty with sizes, shapes, colors; weakness in memory and organization.

SELF-HELP - Trouble with washing, dressing, or other personal routines for daily living.

ATTENTION - Distracted easily, impulsive behavior.
